You New Responsibilities:
- Independently working on legal issues and advice on national and international contractual matters, in particular in regard to purchasing, sales and development issues
- Follow current legal developments and set standards as well as professional support of legal colleagues in other jurisdictions in the aforementioned area of responsibility
- Ensuring first class legal advice embedded in a global team of lawyers
- Recognizing and analyzing legal risks, developing and implementing solutions to avoid them
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing all types of contracts in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Support in enforcing company claims and defending against claims against companies
- Proactive development and maintenance of internal and external networks for the pragmatic implementation of legal aspects
Your Profile:
- Legal degree with an above-average state examination, preferably with studies abroad or comparable qualifications
- Long-term knowledge of and experience in commercial law and contract drafting
- Long-term experience in contract negotiations with suppliers and customers
- Experience in an international team advantageous
- Experience in the automotive sector desirable
- Economic understanding and an eye for practical solutions
- Understanding of processes and structures in development, sales and purchasing is desirable
- Confident use of MS Office programs
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English, additional language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel, flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills and persuasiveness
