Job Description


As a sales manager for “Logistics”, you will join a fast paced, growing division working to digitize the logistics industry. You embody one of the most important positions in the company because you have a direct line to customers (CEP Market, 3PL, Supply Chain Operations of various brands/ segments) in the DACH region. This is where you place end-to-end solutions that offer real added value for the needs of customers

Main Responsibilities:

How your role would look like:

  • In this entrepreneurial role you will drive sales, strategically and operationally and build long-term relationships in the process. This includes both, new business and developing existing accounts.
  • You are responsible for driving and ultimately closing the entire sales process by managing stakeholders both on customer side and internally (Customer Service, Procurement, Solution Design etc) to meet financial targets.
  • Your own success strategy is based on market research and analysis - you will focus on target companies within Logistics (CEP, 3PL, DC´s) in the DACH region.
  • Finally, you will observe market developments, follow trends and always have your finger on the pulse in order to expand your customer base strategically.


Qualifications


What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:

  • You have direct sales experience of +3 years and have driven multiple projects with larger accounts in the past.
  • Ideally you have a strong existing network within the logistics industry (CEP, E-Commerce, 3PL, general logistics supply chain).
  • You are eager to hunt for new opportunities while growing existing accounts.
  • Throughout the sales process you are used to working with other departments such as sourcing, customer service and IT in order to ensure that the project is delivered successfully.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German.
  • You are a solution oriented self-starter with a hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial thinking comes natural to you.
  • You have a valid driving license
