YOUR TEAM
Within the department of “Vehicle Motion and Energy” we develop software for all powertrain, chassis, energy and charging functionality for our customer in the Volkswagen group. We’re driven by the idea of a modern tech and software concentric mobility group, with space for cultural growth, innovation, and product orientation development. Therefore, we’re creating new innovating functionalities like data-driven development and Backend functions and we’re one of the relevant enabler of highly automated driving.
Within the competence center Software Development we use the relevant guidelines and metrics (KGAS, HIS/AutomotiveSPICE, AUTOSAR) for (series) software development in the VW Group. We use project-specific coding and modeling guidelines to generate uniform implementation patterns. We avoid potential error (sources) in (series) software development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provision of qualitative and quantitative software embedded solutions
- Determining the necessary target expertise, size and distribution in software development roles
- Maintains the resource planning and allocation of software development staff
- Organizes the internal and external knowledge exchanges
- Optimizes the software tool chain equipment with the IT department
- Assesses the competence gain of all members of the center
- Supporting the Release Trains a software development expert
- Build up the sw development team for the different Agile Release Trains
WHO YOU ARE
- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or in a comparable qualification
- At least 10 years of experience in embedded software development
- Always keen to challenge the status quo in order to develop and deliver an efficient and quality software
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to compromise
- Excellent people skills
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives through experience
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build productive relationships and work well with people at all levels of an organization
- High level of communication skills in German and English
